For those kosher-keeping shoppers, this app can be used as a “check” on products to avoid. Unbeknownst to most, the great majority of essential food products are certified by one of many rabbinical organizations around the country. Pick up a box of breakfast cereal, a bottled water, some butter and yogurt and the chances are high that it is all certified kosher. For the Jewish community and others who might seek kosher foods, like Seventh Day Adventists or Muslims, this is a good thing – there is no need to go to a specialized store or aisle. For most others, it didn’t matter because they were uninformed. But regardless of which group you’re in, KosChertified? will help any conscientious shopper requiring to discern whether a product is not certified kosher (NKC).
Please consider saving this web app to your phone’s Home Screen for a more app-like experience. Cut down on the login time by saving your password to your phone. See our Tips Page for troubleshooting and best practices. There is a similar app available for Android phones from Google Play, and the Grocery Search for that app is slightly faster in some respects – but different. However, this new web app provides a more robust means of searching the entire 4000+ item database specifically for product and company names as well as narrowed-down product categories. Having both the Android version of the app in addition to this web version will certainly complement each other! By the way, this web app is the only option for iPhone owners as Apple refuses to host this critical educational application and tool for the consumer.
As the saying goes, “You are what you eat”! And so your food selection together with the KosChertified? app can play a huge role in your becoming who you are! We hope you enjoy the KosChertified? app!

So in an effort to encourage patronizing the smaller family owned coffee shops and roasters while offering a greater chance of finding NKC coffee (NOT Kosher-Certified), we created our unique Coffee Search Page that excludes the biggest chains like Starbucks, Dunkin' Donuts, and more.
